Description

Citric acid is a gentle, biodegradable acid commonly used as a pH adjuster and mordant in textile dyeing.
This is a 200g pack, ideal for use with dyes requiring acid to set on protein fibers such as wool, silk, and nylon.
It effectively helps set colors, ensuring rich, long-lasting results without harsh chemicals.

Perfect for small-batch dyers and studios, citric acid is a safer alternative to vinegar, offering consistent results with no lingering odor.
Dissolves easily in water and can be added directly to dye baths or used in pre- or post-dye rinses.

General use for immersion dyeing: Use 1 table spoon per 1lb (450g)  of dry fiber.
