In-person workshop at the 2025 Festival de la P’tite Laine in Rivière du Loup. Taught by expert dyer Yana Petrova. The booking is for 1 person. All the necessary dyeing materials are included, as well as 3 skeins of yarn in different compositions to dye.

Are you ready to explore the art of dyeing and create your own unique, vibrant, hand-dyed yarns? In this beginner-friendly dyeing workshop, expert dyer Yana Petrova will show you how. You’ll learn how to dye semi-solid, variegated, and speckled yarns using animal fibers such as sheep’s wool, alpaca, and silk, with synthetic dyes. During these 4 hours of fun, Yana will explain best dyeing practices and guide you step-by-step: from choosing and preparing the yarn to overcoming common mistakes. By the end of the class, you’ll leave with three completed projects and the confidence to dye your own vibrant yarns safely at home.
